2009-06-09: Tech Discusses Wind Power Sound at Prattsburgh, NY Public Meeting
Tech Environmental's Managing Principal Peter Guldberg, C.C.M., was part of a panel of experts that answered questions from the public about the proposed Prattsburgh, NY Wind Farm. Joining him on the podium were representatives of Nixon Peabody LLP, Ecogen Wind LLC, and American Consulting Professionals of New York, PLLC.
Ecogen Wind LLC, the proponent of the 78-MW wind energy project, hosted the informational meeting for residents in the Town of Prattsburgh, which is located in Steuben County, 50 miles southeast of Rochester.
Mr. Guldberg answered a long list of questions about sound from the wind project, including questions posed at the April 21 Town Board meeting.
