2008-09-30: Tech to Present at OWMA/SWANA Symposium
PETERBOROUGH, ONTARIO - Tech Environmental’s Matthew Riegert will present on the fundamentals of odor and landfill odor management at the Ontario Waste Management Association’s (OWMA) third annual Landfill Symposium October 28th, 2008 in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.
During a morning session, Mr. Riegert will present a two-hour primer on the fundamental sciences of odor, specifically landfill odors. This primer will reflect his far-reaching experience working with odorants and the sources that emit them, as well as the training that he has provided for hundreds of people in the fundamentals of odor generation and odor chemistry, odor complaint response, and odor control basics. The two-day symposium, which will be held Monday October 27th, 2008 thru Tuesday October 28th, 2008 at the Holiday Inn Peterborough Waterfront, is presented jointly with the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA). The two-day OWMA/SWANA Landfill symposium will be followed by several days of SWANA certification courses for OWMA members.
