DESCRIPTION:

T.L. Edwards operates four facilities in Massachusetts, in Plymouth (asphalt and quarry), Avon (asphalt plant) and Stoughton. Tech Environmental performed a comprehensive review of existing permits and previous regulatory filings and prepared a compliance calendar with facility reporting and recordkeeping deadlines. This included dates when source registrations (SR), greenhouse gas (GHG) reports, annual restricted emissions status (RES) emissions inventories, recycling processing reports, Tier II hazardous waste reports and NPDES stormwater testing were required.

Tech has assisted the facilities with environmental reporting which included the preparation of annual/triennial SR emission reports and annual RES reports for the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP).

Tech also assists with the preparation and submittal of Massachusetts Greenhouse Gas (GHG) to the MassDEP via The Climate Registry's (TCR) on-line software. GHG emissions reported included those from HMA production including heaters, on-road vehicles associated with the facility, and fugitive emissions from refrigeration and asphalt storage. The submittals were accepted by the MassDEP.
