General Indoor Air Quality Testing

DESCRIPTION:

At the Chapel Hill- Chauncy Hall School, Tech was asked to perform indoor air quality monitoring because of a concern about the air quality in the school rooms. Tech measured both carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2) in 7 different locations throughout the school. Carbon monoxide was not detected at any of the locations, indicating that there were no sources of CO inside the building causing unsafe conditions. All measured levels of CO2 were in an acceptable range, indicating adequate ventilation and a safe environment for both teachers and students. The general air quality was found to be fine.
