Indoor Air Quality Testing

DESCRIPTION:

Due to a complaint at the Highland Medical Center in Braintree, MA, Tech Environmental performed an indoor air quality investigation. During the initial site inspection, Tech assessed the area for water damage and mold growth. While onsite, Tech collected six airborne mold spore samples, both inside and outside of the building. To assess moisture levels, measurements of humidity and temperature were also collected during the site visit. In addition, Tech performed a general indoor air quality assessment and took measurements of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide. Based on the results of the air quality testing, Tech was able to conclude that at the time of testing, the air quality was good and there was no indication of mold growth occurring. Tech recommended cautionary measures to be taken in regards to air quality concerns such as replacing air filters regularly and responding proactively to water leaks.
