Greenhouse Gas Analysis for Daly Field Single EIR

DESCRIPTION:

For the Daly Field Restoration project, Tech performed a greenhouse gas study following the Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Protocol from the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EOEEA), requiring the use of the appropriate energy model. Tech used the model to calculate energy use and CO2 emissions for two cases: a building code compliant Base Case, and the Preferred Mitigation case. To correctly analyze energy use and CO2 emissions, Tech included cumulative calculations for direct, indirect and transportation services. With these calculations, Tech was able to test different mitigation measures in the energy model to determine most effective and cost efficient measures. The greenhouse gas report was prepared and submitted to Fort Point Associates for use in the SEIR.
