DESCRIPTION:

Aggregate Industries (AI) operates a batch and drum hot mix asphalt (HMA) plant, a reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) crushing plant, and a rock crushing plant in Wrentham, Massachusetts. Tech is familiar with the facility from previous air quality and noise compliance work, and assisted AI with preparing and submitting a Massachusetts Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Report to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) via The Climate Registry (TCR). GHG emissions reported included those from HMA production including heaters, on-road vehicles associated with the facility, and fugitive emissions from refrigeration and asphalt storage. The submittal was accepted by MassDEP and verified by an independent third party.
