DESCRIPTION:

As a peer review consultant to Maine Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Tech performed an independent review of the Fox Island Wind Project Sound Level Compliance Report (Summer 2012) prepared by Acentech for Fox Island Wind, a wind energy project consisting of three GE 1.5s turbines in the Town of Vinalhaven, Maine. Tech's peer review found that the compliance test reports demonstrate the project operated in compliance with the Maine DEP 45-dBA nighttime sound limit during the summer of 2012.
