PTE Emissions Calculations

DESCRIPTION:

Tech was hired because of previous experience they had with ready mix concrete (RMC) plants and calculating potential-to-emit (PTE) emissions. Tech's objective was to assess the possibility of reducing potential particulate matter (PM) emissions to less than 1 ton/yr. Tech's first step in assessing this was to perform stationary and mobile source emission calculations for the plant to determine allowable production rate. After participating in a site visit, Tech worked to develop PM10 and PM2.5 emissions calculations from all stationary and fugitive emissions. The final emissions and RMC production calculations based on staying below 1 tpy were presented to Aggregate in a technical report.
