Indoor Air Quality Monitoring

DESCRIPTION:

Tech Environmental conducted a screening level indoor air quality (IAQ) investigation in office spaces on the seventh floor of the MASCO building. There was a possibility of water damage in the building and the indoor air quality assessment was done to assess for mold. Tech performed both a visual inspection and air sampling during the initial site visit and collected airborne mold spore samples both inside and outside of the building. Because excessive humidity levels are the primary cause of mold growth, Tech made sure to collect both relative humidity and temperature measurements to later assess moisture levels. Based off of all the results, Tech was able to conclude that no indoor mold growth was occurring. Additional recommendations were presented in a letter report.
