Bourne Landfill Technical Review

DESCRIPTION:

Tech is currently assisting Bourne Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISWM) with a technical review of new potential operational enhancements for landfill gas collection and destruction, biogas collection from anaerobic digestion, leachate recovery enhancements, and landfill gas/biogas-to-energy options. A number of firms provided new options to ISWM to improve operations and Tech was tasked with determining the air quality, odor, noise, dust and other nuisance potential associated with their processes. Tech's primary goal is to determine whether there are any potential solid waste site assignment fatal flaws with respect to increase nuisance concern. Tech was hired because of our unique understanding of the MassDEP solid waste site assignment process and our experience with anerobic digestion, food waste and solid waste air and odor emission potential.
