Eastbrook Wind Energy Project

DESCRIPTION:

The Eastbrook Wind Energy Project consists of 34-MW of wind turbines in Eastbrook and an adjacent unorganized township in northeastern Maine. Tech Environmental made presentations to the Town Wind Energy Committee to educate the members about the acoustic effects of wind energy, and Tech worked with the Town and the Hancock County Planning Commission and is recommending language for the Town's wind ordinance. Tech also answered questions on acoustics in public hearings for the Wind Energy Committee.
