Biofilter Odor Control Performance Testing

DESCRIPTION:

Tech Environmental was co­ntracted as a independent third party to conduct performance testing of an Envirogen package biological odor control system at the Woodland Street Pump Station in West Boylston, MA. The goal of the testing was to accurately determine the hydrogen sulfide (H2S) removal efficiency of the odor control system to prove compliance with the system's specification.

Tech brought our extensive experience working with ­package wastewater odor control systems, including vendor-supplied biofilters, carbon absorption systems, and wet scrubbers to this project. The testing procedure followed the system's performance testing specification and successfully proved to the municipality that the biofilter fully complied with the odor control specification.
