Aggregate Industries Source Registrations

Source Registrations and GHG Emissions Reporting

DESCRIPTION:

Tech Environmental was retained by Aggregate Industries to prepare Source Registrations (SR), Restricted Emissions Status (RES) and the new Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Registration for submission to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP). The 2009 SR submittals were required for 15 facilities in Massachusetts (7 annual and 8 triennial submittals). Tech completed the 15 SRs and RES forms for Aggregate's three (3) RES facilit­ies.

In addition, Tech also prepared GHG registration forms for three facilities that exceeded 5,000 tons of GHG emissions in 2008 based on Tech's GHG emissions calculations for the annual SR facilities. Tech also reviewed Aggregate's fuel usage and emissions tracking databases for all 25 facilities. Tech checked emissions factors, emissions calculations, and provided corrected facility emissions tracking workbooks electronically to Aggregate.
