Professional Training Course for Civil Engineers

DESCRIPTION:

As part of a one-day training course on Project Permitting in Massachusetts for the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors & Civil Engineers, Tech Environmental gave a lecture on the State's Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Policy and Practice.

The course syllabus included: explaining the GHG Policy and Protocol, Techniques for Energy and CO2 Emissions Modeling, Mitigation Analysis Required by MEPA, and Self-Certification of GHG Mitigation. A similar course is being given by Tech in 2010 through Lorman Education Services, and includes instruction on eQUEST energy modeling.
