Aggregate Industries Littleton

SERVICE:

Processing Plant Air Quality Permit Application

DESCRIPTION:

Aggregate Industries Northeast Region owns and operates a nonmetallic mineral processing Plant in Littleton, Massachusetts.  The facility processes crushed stone, gravel, and sand of various sizes and quantities; raw materials are crushed, screened, washed and stored on-site.

Tech Environmental prepared a Non-Major Comprehensive Plan Approval (CPA) air quality permit application for the facility to replace and operate a new tertiary crusher and make changes to a water spray dust suppression system.  Tech assisted Aggregate with submission of the application to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), fielded questions from DEP about the application, and reviewed the air permit conditions on behalf of Aggregate.
