Rock Crusher Sound Level Compliance Testing

DESCRIPTION:

A rock crushing operation was proposed for a site in Charlestown, Rhode Island and the local Planning Board was concerned with sound level impacts on local residents. 

Tech Environmental completed a noise compliance measurement program of plant operations to document the sound levels produced by rock crushing operations.  The study determined that the sound levels would be in compliance with the Noise Control Ordinance of the Town of Charlestown.  The results of the study were presented to the local planning board and the project was approved.
