DESCRIPTION:

Employees were concerned about the air quality in two office areas in the Talbots' Distribution Center in Lakeville, Massachusetts. There were two primary areas of concern: the catalog shipping area and the receiving area. The concern was both general air quality and the potential for elevated levels of mold.

Tech Environmental conducted a screening level indoor air quality (IAQ) investigation to address the concerns of employees. Based on observations, relative humidity measurements, and the airborne mold spore measurements a report issued by concluded that that there was no mold concern in areas tested inside the facility.
