Noise Study of New Warehouse Building

DESCRIPTION:

The Colony Liquors warehouse in Kingston, New York needed to demonstrate that a new warehouse, which would improve and streamline operations would not create a noise nuisance even though the new building was going to be located closer to some of its nearest neighbors.

Tech Environmental conducted a noise assessment for the proposed new warehouse building comparing the operational sounds that would be generated by the new building to appropriate sound level criteria for the nearby residential areas and the City of Kingston noise ordinance limits.  This was an iterative process where Tech included an analysis of proposed landscaping and noise reducing berms.
