Cell Tower Operational Sound Level Study

DESCRIPTION:

The future noise from a proposed Verizon Wireless telecommunications facility in Killington, Vermont, was estimated and the potential noise impact was determined to demonstrate minimal adverse impact for local permitting.

Tech Environmental measured background noise levels and determined the operational sound levels of the proposed facility at a site off of Lombard Road utilizing a sophisticated acoustic model. The results of the study showed the facility would comply with the U.S. EPA guidelines for sound levels in a residential area or even in a rural area, such as where this facility was located.
