MWRA CSO Tunnel Odor Evaluation

DESCRIPTION:

Corcoran Jennison was concerned that the new Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) odor control building that was literally going to be located on their land (that was taken by eminent domain) had some potential for residual odor, so they asked Tech Environmental to assess the odor potential and make recommendations to improve the odor control site, if necessary.

Tech Environmental evaluated the odor control system and developed a list of improvements that included technology and dispersion improvements.  When MWRA did not see the potential benefit in these improvements, Tech developed a technical public relations campaign that helped Corcoran Jennision ultimately win approval by the MWRA Board for these improvements.
