DESCRIPTION:

A Boston law firm needed air and noise studies to satisfy Environmental Impact Report (EIR) requirements for the Cordage Seaport development in Plymouth, MA.

Tech performed a microscale analysis using projected project traffic impacts to meet the EIR criteria so that the proposed development could move forward. The microscale analysis followed the latest Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) guidance and a modeling protocol for the analysis was prepared for the EIR. An analysis was also made of the potential noise impacts from the proposed project to demonstrate that the projected noise levels from the building's exterior mechanical equipment would not exceed specified noise control criteria at the nearest residences and at the property line.
