DESCRIPTION:

W/S Development Associates needed a noise analysis to satisfy local zoning requirements for a proposed development in Hudson, NH.

Tech performed noise monitoring and conducted an analysis of the potential noise impacts from the proposed project to demonstrate that the projected noise levels from the project would not exceed local regulations. The noise study determined that the Phase I Project construction and operation would comply with the Town of Hudson noise regulation and its decibel limits. The existing sound levels at representative residential locations were measured to document the existing acoustic environment. The future Project-generated sound levels were predicted using the Cadna-A sound propagation model. Possible mitigation measures were suggested and the modeling results were compared with limits set by the Hudson noise regulation to demonstrate that the project would be in compliance.
