DESCRIPTION:

Valley Design Corporation, a precision materials processor, needed air quality testing related to odors from its operations.  Testing was conducted to test the recently installed control system.

Tech Environmental, Inc.conducted air quality testing related to odors to assess the effectiveness of the recently installed air control system at Valley Design building in Shirley, MA.  Testing was conducted for airborne volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and the results for the detected compounds were compared to exposure guidelines from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and odor thresholds. The sampling results demonstrated that the air system was working as designed, since all compounds were found at levels well below the OSHA guidelines and the odor thresholds.
