DESCRIPTION:

Prior to employment at Tech, Tech staff worked directly for Vermont AOT. An inter-agency task force was developed to identify rural road and bridge projects that were candidates for federal funding based on demonstrated water quality impacts. Numerous erosion sites throughout the state were examined for inclusion in a grant program. Potential mitigation measures were developed with the State Stormwater Engineer. Stormwater management compliance at satellite road maintenance shops was also explored. New permit acquisition was coordinated for active and future construction projects.
