DESCRIPTION:

A Massachusetts landfill was considering different possibilities for odor control and was determining their flare pretreatment requirement.   The landfill staff desired a third-party assessment of the existing conditions.  Tech collected air samples from the landfill and had the samples analyzed for hydrogen sulfide and fixed gases.

Tech examined the results and made odor control recommendations.  The recommendations included a hydrogen sulfide removal system to minimize residual odor and to prevent sulfur dioxide exceedances.
