Simmons College Expansion

Air Quality & Noise Analyses

DESCRIPTION:

Simmons College in downtown Boston proposed an expansion to its School of Management.  Tech was asked to perform air quality and noise impact analyses for the project.  These analyses were required for the City of Boston's Article 80 permitting process.

Tech worked closely with the project architect and traffic engineer to obtain the information necessary to perform air quality and noise impact analyses that would satisfy the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA).  The air quality analyses demonstrated compliance with applicable air quality standards. The noise analysis also demonstrated compliance with Massachusetts and City of Boston noise regulations with minimal mitigation.
