Noise Impact Analysis for Proposed Facility

DESCRIPTION:

Tech was asked to provide acoustical engineering services in support of Aspen Aerogels' permitting efforts for a proposed facility in East Providence, Rhode Island. The overall goal of the study is to demonstrate compliance with the East Providence Noise Bylaw.

Tech performed a preliminary noise assessment using sound data provided by the client. Later, acoustic modeling input data were collected during a site visit to help refine the noise analysis. Baseline sound measurements were completed during both day and nighttime periods.
