Sound Study and Noise Control Plan

DESCRIPTION:

A developer wanted to construct an automobile distribution facility in Meriden, Connecticut. Tech was asked to provide noise analyses to support the City approval of the facility.

Tech conducted a sound study of the project and developed a sound control plan. A series of presentations were made by Tech to neighborhood groups and the Chamber of Commerce. With the sound control plan in place, the proposed Auto Exchange was found to not perceptibly increase sound in nearby residential areas. Tech showed that the Project fully complied with City and State noise regulations.
