DESCRIPTION:

Prior to Tech, Tech staff led the environmental permitting and compliance programs at this multi-site adventure resort. The compliance and training programs undertaken included: snowmaking water withdrawal, air quality record-keeping, land use permitting, wastewater and water supply systems, fleet fueling and spill prevention (SPCC), hazardous chemical management (Tier II) and resort-wide stormwater management (SWPPP). The water withdrawal program for seasonal golf operations, as well as on-site wastewater and water supply utilities, was also managed within permit conditions. Performing seasonal fishery inventories and habitat improvement projects within Clay Brook and Mad River watersheds were also a condition of Army Corp and VTDEC water withdrawal permitting.
