Notus Clean Energy Wind Turbine

Noise Peer Review

Notus Clean Energy, LLC , installed a V82 1.65-MW wind turbine in Falmouth, MA, and another consultant performed noise compliance testing of the turbine in December, 2010. Tech was retained by the Falmouth Board of Appeals to do a peer review of the test report.

Tech confirmed that the other consultant did the compliance testing correctly and employed a conservative approach. Tech’s peer review report affirmed the conclusion that the Notus clean energy turbine is in compliance with the sound limits in its special permit.
